2016 New England Young Writers Conference

In May, Tucker  Boyd will join high school students from around the country for four days of writing seminars, workshops, readings, and opportunities to work with professional writers to gain inspiration and develop skills.  He was nominated by Neale Gay, The Academy’s Academic Dean for Humanities and The Arts.

Tucker is a writer and thespian, currently performing in The Academy’s production of Big Love by Charles Mee.  He has also spearheaded the revitalization of the school’s’ literary magazine this year, published online.  Of his selection for the conference, Tucker notes “I’m honored and excited to have the opportunity to further explore my passion for writing along with other students with similar interests, and with published writers.”

Congratulations to Tucker!
