Studio Blocks take place on Tuesday and Thursday mornings for two periods each day, and no academic classes meet during these times. Students choose from a variety of visual and performing arts classes taught by professional artists and musicians as well as offerings in other elective realms, such as chess, baking, coding, and more. While students have some opportunities to take part in visual art and music classes as part of their typical academic schedule (including Foundational art and music classes for middle schoolers, and visual art electives for high school students), Studio Blocks allow all academy students to take part in art and music for up to four hours every week.
