The Dublin School defeated the Boys Varsity Soccer team 2-1 in a River Valley Athletic League semifinal match on Sunday at Charlemont. After going down 2-0 by the half, the Aardvarks applied pressure on Dublin’s side of the field for most of the second half. Aiden Brenizer scored the lone Aardvark goal. In their final game, after leading the team to the 2016 RVAL Team Sportsmanship Award, seniors Aiden, Sam Zakon-Anderson, Henry Walker-West, Tucker Boyd, and Ben Schocket-Greene all played well on both ends of the field.
The Academy’s Cross-Country team battled the side of Mt. Greylock in the RVAL Championship race on Wednesday. Kyle Mayer (36th) led the way for The Academy with a time of 25:22 on the hilly 5K course.
