The JV Ultimate team lost to Four Rivers middle school team 15-3 on Tuesday. Patrick O scored twice and Will D scored once, while Will, Saraphina F, and Tucker B had assists. Overall, the team played well against a very challenging young team.
On Tuesday, the middle school Ultimate team lost to Bement 15-6. Raymond M, Alec D and Tor O (4) all had assists, and Alec, Eliza B, Juliet C, and Sylvie M(3) scored points. Elaina G and Ella R had great games on defense. Overall, the team maintained a great level of focus and enthusiasm throughout the whole game despite the unfavorable conditions and showed a lot of improvement!
The girls lacrosse won a tight 10-9 game against Pinecobble on Tuesday. The team played well in many aspects of the game, including passing to open cutters, creating space “off ball”, and getting more players involved in the action. Goals came from Lizzie H (3), Hayley C (2), Riley H (2), as well as Celeste D , Sienna B , and Ella D who each scored their first career goals! Ella also led the team with 4 groundballs.
On Thursday, the Varsity Ultimate team beat Hartsbrook 15-3. Corinne L played great defense, Tucker ZA was a solid handler on offense, and Liam F had 4 goals. Nine different Academy players had at least one goal!
