July 31-August 4               9am-1pm

Join us for a fun week of playing with clay! Using animals for inspiration, we’ll create ceramic objects for use and decoration. Cups, bowls and tiles to hang on your wall are some of the projects we will explore. During the class we’ll take nature walks and gather materials to use in building our creations. Students will learn basic ceramic methods such as pinch, slab and coil pots and applying surface textures and colors. Students should wear play clothes.

Work will be fired and available for pick up at The Academy at Charlemont the following week.
