Kudos to rising 9th grader Juliet C on being published by the Washington Post today with an op-ed piece entitled “The lonely world between the hearing and the Deaf”. Brilliantly written as a school assignment, it’s a deeply personal account of her own experience in that space, and a commentary on the vital importance of finding common ground within and between communities.
