Algebra I students use practical applications to determine whether or not there are mathematical relationships in the world around us. In particular, is there a relationship between the weights of nickels and pennies? They’ve already drawn scale diagrams of their houses. After Thanksgiving Break, they will create scale models of everyday objects.
