The Varsity Ultimate team defeated the Pioneer Valley Chinese Immersion Charter School on Tuesday, while the Middle School Ultimate team had two tough losses this week to the Hilltown Cooperative Charter School and the Pioneer Valley Chinese Immersion Charter School. The girls’ lacrosse tied Amherst Middle School with goals from Ella D and Celeste D.

As the rest of the class read aloud the description at the beginning of the surrealistic short story by Argentinian Julio Cortázar, “La Casa tomada,” a metaphor for the dictatorial Juan Perón government, Grayson R and Ben M used their artistic skills to render the narration visual.
