The Academy is honored and pleased to have received a generous grant from The Kate Risley Foundation, to ​develop our Girls Soccer program. Grant monies will support coaching, pre-season training​, and off-season clinics in the coming year, with the goal of readying players for more competitive play and an enriched overall experience. These goals are in keeping with the mission of the Kate Risley Foundation: to encourage girls and young women, especially those from less advantaged backgrounds, to participate in competitive team sports and to further enhance the self-esteem of Academy girls through athletics.  Further, as the athletics program at The Academy evolves, successful implementation of these strategies ​will serve as a replicable model for other sports.
