Admissions and Communications Associate: The ideal candidate will be highly organized, have experience working in an admissions office, have excellent writing and verbal communication skills, and the ability to create and implement a coordinated publication/marketing/social media/web program for internal and external audiences. Evidence of proactive, self-directed and entrepreneurial work within a team structure is key. We have flexibility on how we structure the position, based on the strengths and talents of the eventual hire. In the short term, the hire will report directly to the Head of School; we seek to fill the position beginning July 1st. The position will be approximately half-time and is a one-year appointment. Spanish: The primary classroom responsibility is to teach all levels of Spanish language and literature. Other responsibilities for this position include those that are normally part of a school commitment: coaching assignments, advising, and other routine duties. Prior experience teaching Spanish classes and a Masters Degree are preferred. A candidate must also possess the interest and energy to thrive within a lively work pace, a genuine appreciation of adolescents, a sense of humor and the ability to work as part of a team. Humanities/College Counseling: The primary classroom responsibility is to teach U.S. History, Senior Humanities (SeniorEnglish, religion and philosophy) and other elective courses. Experience or interest incollege counseling would be a distinct advantage. Other responsibilities for this positioninclude those that are normally part of a school commitment: coaching assignments, advising, and other routine duties. Prior experience teaching Humanities classes and a Masters Degree are preferred. Excellent communication skills required.
